An OSCE observer team and members of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) came under sniper fire from Ukrainian security forces, deputy commander of the headquarters of the self-proclaimed Donbass People's Republic militia Eduard Basurin said on Sunday.
A source in the Donbass militia earlier said that Ukrainian forces fired at least 240 shells at the village Kominternovo on Friday, at the demarcation line in the south of the Donets Basin. On Saturday, Eduard Basurin said that Ukrainian forces fired upon Kominternovo 15 minutes after OSCE and JCCC representatives left the area.
"The delegation did not have time to work, so to say. We managed to inspect only two funnels," Basurin said.
Observers have already left the village, according local media citing a source in the self-proclaimed republic's security forces.
