University of Cincinnati police officer Ray Tensing faces murder charges and life imprisonment for fatally shooting unarmed African-American man Sam Dubose during a traffic stop on July 19, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters announced on Wednesday.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters said:

“This is without question a murder…I’m treating him as a murderer.”

The prosecutor added that Tensing should have never become a police officer, as he did not follow simple non-violence commands.
